Effective thermal protection for turbocharger exhaust housings
DESCRIPTION
So-called turbo nappies are pre-formed screens that are simply applied to the turbocharger's exhaust housing so that the resulting temperatures can be kept within the exhaust housing and not burden the rest of the components in the engine compartment. Furthermore, the kinetic energy can be used to improve the turbocharger's response time and increase its performance.
