Effective thermal protection for external wastegate
DESCRIPTION
Wastegate heat covers work very similarly to turbine heat covers. After all, they also come into contact with the exhaust gas flow and are subjected to high temperatures. The heat cover helps reduce the excessive heat dissipated from the wastegate into the engine compartment. This prevents overheating of components near the wastegate and reduces intake temperatures.
