The FuelTech Peak & Hold 8A/2A injector driver is a 4-channel unit designed for the control of low-impedance injectors (less than 1.5 Ohms). This module is essential to correctly manage the current of racing injectors, preventing overheating and ensuring fast opening times. Mounting kit included.

TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION
Peak and Hold 8A/2A (Current version) Manages up to 4 injectors with impedance less than 1.5 Ohms:
4 FT Injectors (1 per channel).
16 Bosch 160lb/h (1600cc) injectors (4 per channel).
8 low-impedance Siemens injectors (2 per channel).
4 low-impedance MSD injectors (2 per channel with 2 Ohms of impedance each).
Peak and Hold 4A/1A Manages up to 4 injectors with impedance between 1.5 and 3 Ohms.
Peak and Hold 2A/0.5A Manages up to 4 injectors with impedance between 3 and 7 Ohms.
PEAK & HOLD SELECTION GUIDE
To determine which module you need, follow these steps with a multimeter:
Set the multimeter to Ohms (200).
Touch the probes together to measure internal resistance (e.g., 0.3 Ohms).
Measure the resistance on the injector terminals (e.g., 4.8 Ohms).
Subtract the value from step 2 from the value in step 3 (4.8 - 0.3 = 4.5 Ohms).
Above 7 Ohms: High impedance - No module required.
From 3 to 7 Ohms: Peak and Hold 2A required (e.g., Bosch 160lb/h).
From 1.5 to 3 Ohms: Peak and Hold 4A required.
Below 1.5 Ohms: Peak and Hold 8A required (e.g., FT Injector, Billet Atomizer*).
Note: All Billet Atomizer injectors produced after Nov. 2012 require the 8A version regardless of the measured resistance.
