The FuelTech Input Expander module adds 24 additional inputs (20 analog and 4 VR) when used with any PowerFT line ECU (FT450, FT550, FT550LITE, and FT600). It is the perfect addition to the engine management system for anyone looking to datalog additional sensors.
Take your engine management system to the next level with the FT Input Expander. We developed this module in response to requests from top Pro Mod teams who, despite using the FT600 (our most advanced EFI system with 20 native inputs), had run out of available channels and needed to monitor additional parameters. The FT Input Expander provides 20 additional analog inputs (0-5V signal) and 4 inputs for VR sensors (magnetic/differential sensors).
All data is sent via CAN network to the ECU. Readings from sensors wired to the expander will be saved directly into the ECU's internal datalog file, eliminating the need for external equipment or the need to analyze separate files. Installation is very simple: just connect power and ground, connect the CAN bus to the ECU, and wire the orange wires to the desired sensors. All settings and configuration are handled via the FTManager software.
