NOTE : Ideal for most popular racing applications and late-model performance. Recommended for 4, 6, and 8-cylinder, Drive-By-Wire (DBW) or 2, 3, and 4-rotor engines, EFI conversions, and engines with multiple variable camshafts.

Control unit functions

  • Drive by Wire (DBW) Throttle Control - Requires 2 user defined outputs 4 user defined inputs.
  • Low impedance injector control with programmable peak and hold currents and programmable peak time.
  • Flex Fuel Function (Direct Sensor Input) - Adjusts engine boost, fuel and ignition timing based on ethanol content.
  • Flexible regulation setting for petrol, methane and ethanol that allows you to simply select the fuel type.
  • Closed Loop O2 Control - Dual Bank Control for Precise Adjustment (With Optional External Wideband CAN O2 Control Kit).
  • Dual-Channel Knock Control - Synchronized to motor position with high-speed digital filtering for accurate detection.
  • Variable Cam Control - Independent control of up to 4 camshafts - Requires at least 1 user-defined input and output.
  • Closed-loop idle control with correction for consistent idle stability - Requires 1 or 2 user-defined outputs (BAC type) or 4 user-defined outputs (stepper motor type).
  • Long-term correction (Autotune) of fuel, ignition, cam, boost and idle control maps (up to 4D).
  • On-board data recording - Up to 40 channels of recording at sampling rates up to 5 ms (200 Hz) with 2 MB of internal memory.
  • Data Logging to PC - Record data from all available channels directly to your PC's hard drive for both tuning and diagnostics.
  • Dual CAN Bus communication for Haltech dashboards and expansion devices.
  • Injection phases: up to 4 with individual flow rates per injector.
  • 8 injector drivers for 2 sequential stages on 4-cylinder & 3-rotor engines and up to 4 sequential stages on 2-rotor engines.
  • Anti-Lag / Rotational Idle - For closed-course racing, rallying, circuit racing, or drifting. Builds and maintains boost under closed-throttle conditions.
  • Rotary Anti-Lag - Locks the engine to the current (or preset) RPM or road speed for roll racing or pit lane restriction.
  • Launch Control - Controls power delivery, rpm and engine thrust to maintain consistent performance at the start.
  • Traction Control - Controls the engine's power delivery by mapping the front and rear axle or by adjusting the speed of slip on individual wheels.

Advanced adjustment

  • Adjustment table resolution up to 32x32x8.
  • Unlimited tuning flexibility - Engine tuning via a combination of 4D tables with 3D per-cylinder offsets and multiple user-definable corrections.
  • Adjust via a combination of manifold pressure, throttle position, cam position, ethanol content, gear, speed, race time, EGT, damper, ride height or any other channel for maximum flexibility - Dual mapping is a thing of the past.
  • Cylinder Adjustment Correction - 3D.
  • O2 Wideband - Connect up to 9 channels via CAN expansion devices.
  • Thermocouples / EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) - Connection of up to 12 channels via external CAN expansion devices.
  • Engine Protection - Advanced multi-level limit settings for sensors and engine protection against the most common causes of failure.

Tender functions

  • 3D fuel and ignition corrections for all stages.
  • Boost control - Intelligent, learning 4D closed-loop, user-definable flex axes, and 14 fully user-definable boost and duty cycle corrections.
  • Multiple modes: such as boost based on gear, road speed, race timer, shock travel, ride height, etc.
  • Sequential turbo control.
  • CO2 Boost Control, wastegate pressure and position, intake air bleed control (charge pipe wastegate) for the hardcore racers.
  • Flat shift - Optimize shift accuracy using a combination of inputs such as the clutch switch or strain gauge.
  • Shock travel/height inputs allow for dynamic adjustment and data logging to aid chassis development and power delivery.
  • Timer Functions - Use the combination of the race timer and 5 other programmable timers for timed control of various engine parameters, power delivery and other user-definable functions.
  • The Trans brake function allows for smooth and constant control of the starting attitude (Bump or Creep).
  • Optional Upgrade - Advanced Torque Management - A fully integrated crankshaft rpm management feature that provides ultimate control and consistency for the most demanding drag racers, eliminating the need for expensive external controllers.
