The Elite 2500 is a standalone, dual-connector ECU ideal for popular racing applications and performance-focused late-model models. Featuring a rugged IP67 waterproof case, drive-by-wire throttle control, and more, the Elite 2500 provides tuners with the tools they need to get the job done.
DESCRIPTION
COMPATIBILITY : Retrofits a GEN IV LS2/3 DBW throttle body. Common US-style Delco/Bosch alternator connector. Pre-wired for direct connection to the OEM 7-way coil harness connector. WBC1/2 CAN wideband O2 controller (Controller and sensor(s) not included). Manual transmission only.
INCLUDES : Elite 2500 control unit with DBW and race functions. Engine wiring harness with fuse block, firewall grommet, USB programming cable, and USB software key.
NOTE : Please check your alternator connector (see product quick start guide) and order an alternator adapter if needed. Ignition coils and wiring harnesses (HT-040090 or HT-040091) are NOT included. Please order 8 x HT-020102 and/or HT-045657 if needed.

Wiring Features
- This harness, when installed in conjunction with a Haltech Elite ECU, opens the door to virtually limitless performance modification and vehicle tuning.
- Fully programmable systems allow you to extract full performance from your engine by precisely delivering the amount of fuel and ignition timing the engine needs to achieve maximum power under all operating conditions.
Control unit functions
- Drive by Wire (DBW) Throttle Control - Requires (2) user defined outputs (4) user defined inputs
- Low impedance injector control with programmable injector peak and hold currents and programmable peak time
- Flex Fuel Function (Direct Sensor Input) - Adjusts engine boost, fuel, and ignition timing based on ethanol content.
- The flexible regulation configuration for petrol, LPG, methanol and ethanol allows you to simply select the fuel type.
- Closed Loop O2 Control - Dual Bank Control for Precise Tuning (with optional Wideband CAN O2 External Control Kit)
- Dual-Channel Knock Control - Adjusted with motor position and a high-speed digital filter for accurate detection.
- Variable Cam Control - Independently controls up to 4 camshafts - Requires a minimum of 1 user-defined input and output for each variable cam
- Closed-loop idle control with learning for consistent idle stability - Requires 1 or 2 user-defined outputs (BAC type) or 4 user-defined outputs (stepper motor type)
- Long-term learning (Auto tune) on fuel, ignition, cam, boost and idle control maps (up to 4D)
- On-board data recording - Up to 40 channels of recording at sampling rates up to 5 ms (200 Hz) with 2 MB of internal memory
- Laptop Data Logging - Record all available channels directly to your laptop's hard drive for tuning and diagnostics.
- Dual CAN Bus communication for Haltech displays and expansion devices, OEM CAN and OBDII supported (display live engine data and set and clear diagnostic trouble codes)
- Injection phases: up to 4 with individual flow rates per injector
- 8 injector drivers for 2 sequential phases on 4-cylinder, 3-rotor engines and up to 4 sequential phases on 2-rotor engines
- Anti-Lag/Rotational Idle - for closed-course racing, rallying, circuit racing, or drifting. Builds and maintains boost under closed-throttle conditions.
- Rolling Anti-Lag - locks the current (or preset) RPM or road speed for rolling races or pit lane restriction.
- Launch Control - Controls engine power delivery, rpm and thrust for consistent launch performance.
- Traction Control - Controls the engine's power delivery by mapping the front and rear axle or by adjusting the speed of slip on individual wheels.
Advanced adjustment
- Adjustment table resolution up to 32 x 32 x 8
- Unlimited Tuning Flexibility - Engine tuning is based on a combination of 4D tuning tables combined with 3D cylinder offsets and multiple user-definable corrections.
- Adjustment is based on a combination of manifold pressure, throttle position, cam position, ethanol content, gearing, road speed, race time, EGT, shock travel, ride height, or any channel for maximum flexibility—dual mapping is a thing of the past.
- Cylinder Adjustment Correction - 3D
- O2 Wideband - Connect up to 9 channels via CAN expansion devices
- Thermocouples/EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) - Connection of up to 12 channels via external CAN expansion devices.
- Motor Protection - Set advanced multi-level limits for sensors and protect the motor against the most common causes of failure.
Tender functions
- Nitrous oxide control with advanced programming for up to 6 stages of wet or dry nitrous oxide kits with on/off delays and benchtop control options.
- Fuel and ignition corrections for all stages.
- Boost Control - Intelligent, learning 4D closed-loop, user-definable flexible axes, and 14 fully user-definable boost and duty cycle corrections.
- Mode: Example of boost based on gear, road speed, race timer, shock travel, ride height, etc.
- Sequential turbo control
- CO2 boost control, wastegate pressure and position, intake air bleed control (charge pipe wastegate) for the hardcore racers.
- Flat Shifter - Optimize shift accuracy with a combination of inputs such as the clutch switch or strain gauge.
- Shock travel/height inputs allow for dynamic tuning and data logging to aid chassis development and power delivery.
- Timer Functions - Use the combination of the race timer and 5 other programmable timers for timed control of multiple engine parameters, power delivery and other user-definable functions.
- The transmission braking function allows you to smoothly and consistently control the starting line attitude (Bump or Creep).
- Optional Upgrade - Advanced Torque Management - A fully integrated crankshaft rpm management feature that provides ultimate control and consistency for the most demanding drag racers, eliminating the need for expensive external controllers.
