MAP Sensor 5 Bar Motorsport (Stainless steel diaphragm)
DESCRIPTION
A Haltech MAP (manifold absolute pressure) sensor provides the electronic control unit (ECU) with instantaneous pressure information from the intake manifold—the amount of boost or vacuum in the intake manifold.This is necessary to calculate air density and determine the engine's air mass flow rate, or, in other words, engine load.Engine load is used as a reference for all base fuel and ignition.
THREAD : 1/8 NPT
INCLUDES : Matching Delphi plug and 3 pins.
NOTE : Motorsport MAP sensors must not be mounted directly to the intake manifold, they must be mounted remotely and connected via a hose - If necessary, use the HT-039103 pressure sensor extension
Please use caution when wiring this sensor, as incorrect wiring will damage it! All Motorsport MAP and pressure sensors are individually electronically tested before packaging and are sold "as is" with no further warranties. Returns of opened sensors are not accepted. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please return the unopened sensor in its original packaging for a full refund.
