The intercooler kit for the Abarth 500 is interchangeable with the original thanks to the modified bumper crossmember included with the kit. However, some small modifications to the lower bumper crossmember are still required. If the car is equipped for a xenon system, you will be forced to either move the xenon tank or remove the system and switch to halogen. The intercooler measures 260x710x50mm, while the radiator core measures 260x580x40mm. The effective cooling volume has increased by 100%. The airflow surface area is 1508 square centimeters, almost 110% larger than the original.
