Superior Reliability: The stock pump often fails under racing conditions, struggling to maintain more than 60 psi at high RPM. This unit features ball bearings to ensure perfect stabilization and shaft alignment at high revolutions.
Optimized Oil Flow: Designed with a specific gear ratio to efficiently drive both the high-volume oil pump and the fuel pump, enabling applications beyond 12,000 RPM.
Fuel System Solutions: The optional mechanical fuel pump operates independently of the electrical system, ensuring reliable flow and reducing the load on the charging/battery system. Driving the mechanical pump from the crankshaft is safer than from the camshaft, as it avoids stressing the timing chain and prevents pickup issues caused by positioning it too high relative to the fuel tank.
INSTALLATION AND COMPATIBILITY
Easy Installation: Mounts directly to the engine without modifications; the engine does not need to be removed from the hull for installation.
Recommended Upgrades: Although it is compatible with the original oil pan, pairing it with the FuelTech Billet Oil Pan is recommended for maximum performance. It can be coupled to a 13gpm or 20gpm mechanical fuel pump using the Indutech Mechanical Hex Drive support bracket.
