Compressor side
It uses the latest generation of compressor impellers designed by CFD.
The optionally available speed sensor can now simply be inserted into the compressor housing and sealed using an O-ring.
Hull Group
The hull assembly is fixed to the exhaust housing by a V-band and can therefore easily be placed in any position and rotated 360°.
Two large water connection options allow for high cooling water flow and easy installation of the supply and drain lines via two supplied -6AN adapters.
The space gained by the compact design allows for the first time the use of double piston seals on the compressor and turbine sides, which significantly reduce oil leakage from the bearing housing.
Exhaust side
The completely redesigned turbine wheel made of high-performance Inconel material allows exhaust gas temperatures of up to 950°C. Flow could be increased by up to 10% compared to GTX42 turbochargers. And this with an efficiency of up to 77%.
All G-42 exhaust wraps are made of stainless steel and resistant to temperatures up to 950°C.
